Host, Rana invites you to her beautiful state of the art kombucha brewery to for a merged experience in kombucha brewing, tasting and Arab cuisine and hospitality. Join Chef Hani DeSouky for an authentic Yemeni dinner journey. Chef Hani comes from a Yemeni and Egyptian upbringing. He has worked in restaurants all around the Bay Area, the most recent being the People's Cafe.
The dinner will be part of a kombucha brewery tour. The founder of House Kombucha, Rana Chang, will give personal tours of her factory where kombucha is brewed in giant vats. Experience the unqiue smell and feel of the fermentation room and bask in the lifeforce of billions of probiotic microbes. Experience the fine herbs and teas we use and sample all the flavors. Get homebrew tips from pro's who have been brewing kombucha commercially for over 12 years.

AFTERNOON HAND ROASTED YEMENI COFFEE Guests will learn the history of the original coffee which was grown in Yemen over 1000 years ago and experience the roasting and de-husking of home roasted coffee. Served with Yemeni almonds and honey.
