Welcome to my kitchen. In this 3-hours hands-on experience, my guests will become familiar with the important yet basic Indian cooking techniques that make Indian cuisine rich in flavors. Food is the window to any culture and by letting the guests enter into my home to cook some of my family recipes together, I want to show the glimpse of Indian families and how it is centered around food, love and fun dinner party environment. And some Ghluwien in this cold/rainy weather didn't hurt anyone! These healthy and protein packed recipes can be recreated with the minimal ingredients at your home.
After the introductions, drinks and some snacks, we will get into the art of making of Indian main course and aim to achieve complex flavors of the Indian gravies by adjusting commonly used Indian spices. Main course will feature 3 main dishes (with different styles of tempering) with an accompaniment. After fixing the main course, we will set the table as it is done in an Indian household and eat together while exchanging stories from our cultures and households, as the dessert is still in the making. Please do not hesitate to reach out for those special events! Other things to note, - No red meat is used in the food. - please disclose any dietary restrictions upon booking as I am able to accommodate any vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free requests.

Blanched spinach with Indian cottage cheese cubes. Chickpea Masala (Chickpeas tempered with Indian spice mix) Daal tadka (Lentils tempered with cumin and mustard seeds) Basmati rice Egg Curry
