Born in the center of Athens, lived and worked in different places around the world, reporting on news or working with refugees and migrants. 
One of these places was Israel. 
And after 22 years of visiting your thrilling country, for business (as a journalist and a humanitarian) for leisure (in the summer or in the hagim, to visit good friends) or for adventure (kibbutz Yotvata date farmer, Vipassana student, desert trekker and many more), I ended up getting married to an Israeli woman - my beloved ishti, Natalie, an amazing yoga teacher and dancer from Herzliya.
Since 2017 we live together in Israel and recently we moved into in a lovely sun-drenched apartment with huge windows and amazing views of green hills and the Mediterranean. Eyfo ze? En HaYam, in those tall buildings right between Mikhmoret and Olga. We are on the most frontal one, with the most sea breeze!

I work as a journalist (recently on a new documentary for the Greek TV) and as a singer (with my band, Philoxenia -the sound of Athens in Israel- performing in many Tel Aviv venues and private parties) and of course I love to share my deep passion for traditional home-cooked Greek food with my fellow Israelim, as I've been taught to prepare it by my grandmother and my mother in our Athens home.
Ani ben adam ne'antan - or "meraklis" as we say in Greek.
Taste my moussaka, my tzatziki, my spanakopita, my fava, my kreas sti gastra.
All my material are the exact ones that we use back home. Only real Greek feta from Lesvos, only real Greek yogurt from Saloniki. Tslafim from my island, Syros. All my spices I bring from the Central Market of Athens. Vegetables hand-picked one by one by farms of the north. Olive oil Koroneiki. No other oil.
This is the real thing. Not "be'signon".

I will try to entertain you for three hours, make you feel the deep meaning of my "philoxenia" - the Greeks' concept for hospitality - "showing love to a complete stranger". In more simple words, my love for making new friends, merging over simple life pleasures, good food and quality moments of kef, coming from inside your soul.
