Chef Jon Villar welcomes you to The Kings Head - an exclusive private members club and East End boozer on Kingsland Rd in the heart of Shoreditch, where he's serving up his next new dining concept: "SILK ROAD" - a 9-course tasting menu - a selection of innovative, fusion dishes from countries on the Silk Road.

The Silk Road was a network of Eurasian trade routes active from the second century BCE until the mid-15th century. Spanning over 6,400 kilometers (4,000 miles), it played a central role in facilitating economic, cultural, political, culinary and religious interactions between the East and West. Silk Routes, which more accurately describes the intricate web of land and sea routes connecting East and Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia, the Middle East, East Africa and Europe.

The Venue: Concealed beneath the facade of a derelict public house, the King’s Head is a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Inside guests will find an array of unique spaces and dinner will take place in one of the fantastical private rooms. Guests must be 18+ to attend this venue.
