Learn to prepare this Neapolitan classic in the cool setting of a villa surrounded by greenery, located in Scafati. The location is located between Naples and Salerno, in a strategic point to reach the archaeological site of Pompeii, Oplonti, Herculaneum, Paestum and more.
Under Francesca's guidance, you will be taken on a cultural and culinary journey, learning the tricks and secrets of pizza, in the country where it was born. Where possible, the ingredients are collected from our garden and the tomato sauce is prepared according to the old peasant tradition.
By the end of the class you will feel confident enough to reproduce food at home by impressing your lucky guests!
Being both a fun but informative lesson, this hands-on pizza lesson will be one of the most memorable parts of your trip to Campania. You will leave satisfied, excited and with wonderful memories that you can take home with you!

I am Francesca, born and raised in Pompeii. I live in Scafati, in a villa surrounded by greenery and five minutes from the Scafati / Pompei motorway exit - the perfect place for those who have planned a visit to the excavations. 

I have always loved cooking for my family and friends.
I enriched my passion by attending traditional and vegetarian cooking courses. Over time I have learned to make my passion my profession. To date, I cook traditional Neapolitan and Campania dishes and desserts. The raw material of my dishes often comes from the organic vegetable garden and fruit trees in my garden, skillfully elaborated thanks to the passion for mother yeast and fresh pasta.

My biggest passion? Neapolitan pizza and fried pizza, with sourdough and tomato from Campania Dop piennolo.
