Fregula Sarda - an authentic pasta dish with seared ahi tuna from the island of Sardinia

We are Francesca and Jonathan, a couple from Italy and United States.  Francesca was born in Verona, Italy and spent her childhood between Northern Italy and the island of Sardinia where her Grandparents were born and live today.  Jonathan grew up on a farm in Colorado where he was homeschooled with his four siblings and learned how to cook from his mother.  Jonathan raised chickens and every summer gave careful attention to his personal garden where he planted corn, many varieties of lettuce and herbs, pumpkins, beans, sunflowers and more! Francesca and Jonathan bring combine their love for cooking and hosting together to create unforgettable experiences with a focus on the cuisines from Francescas origin of Sardinia.  As hosts for friends and family, they pay attention to the source of the food being local and organic, seasonal and selected with care so that the simplicity of the dish comes through to tantalize the palates of their guests.  We love to meet new people and share stories of travels and cuisines from around the world.
