Don't we all love the feeling of togetherness that a big table of family and friends with a spread of homemade food brings? With the world becoming more and more international, urban, global, remote... these occasions are sadly becoming rarer and rarer. As an expat myself, I sure miss it!

So I decided to solve for my need, and hopefully other peoples' too. This is an opportunity to have a homey & personal dining experience, without the work: no hours spent on Pinterest to find the perfect recipe, no cooking and no washing dishes. Extra major bonus points: you get to meet interesting people in real life - outside of apps, for once!

Between me and my partner, we have Brazilian, Japanese, Turkish and German backgrounds that have all (minus one, some will say) incredibly rich gastronomy  - and our recipes will reflect our experiences and backgrounds.

The next event will be a Japanese hot pot called sukiyaki. My father used to cook this meal in special occasions, during cozy winter. Family and friends gathered around the pot, sake, stories and laughters flowing through the evening.

My name is Agnes and I'm Japanese-Brazilian, born in Brazil. My fondest memories are around the stove with my Japanese father cooking fusion meals, while my Brazilian mother cut fresh flowers from the garden and set a beautiful table for lunch.

My Turkish/German partner share similar values of celebrating life through meals. When my father passed away last year, it was the push I needed to share my love for hosting and cooking with others, while offering tasty recipes that were passed down through generations.
