Hey, I'm Kobi, a chef and stand-up comedian from Tel Aviv, and I’d like to invite you to be a guest at my elegant urban loft, located in the city’s vibrant Florentin neighborhood among the old woodshops. 
I treat cooking and hosting with the respect it deserves, putting a lot of thought into my dishes and using only fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients that I buy at the nearby Levinski Market. 


If you enjoy a cozy setting coupled with great food, wine, and laughter, you’ve come to the right place.

What you get:

- A menu of 11 delicious sharing dishes made from a variety of fish, meat, and vegetables
- Red & white wine, arak chasers, sparkling water, tea, and coffee 
- Communal dining for 10-15 people
- For private events, I can write 25 minutes of customized stand-up material based on research with the organizer of the event, in both Hebrew and English 

A bit about your host:

I'm a Cordon Bleu-graduated chef and have been cooking in restaurants and events across Israel for the past 7 years. I love discovering and learning about different cultures by walking and eating, and my travels around South and Central America - plus a three-year stint in India (always happy to talk about that experience) - have had a profound influence on the way I approach food.

While studying in London, I also decided to rekindle my childhood passion and started performing comedy again. A few years later, I'm still living my dreams: cooking, hosting, and making strangers laugh.

my name is Kobi balulu, I'm a standup comedian and a cordon blue graduate chef from Tel Aviv Israel.
for the past 3 years, I'm hosting people with my unique experience - Funny Fine Dine - Dinner and stand-up. 
For the first two years and a half, I use to go to people's houses or rent an external loft for the event.
 today, after a year of search, I found a home for my dinner parties in the vibrant carpenter area of Florentin.


With Funny Fine Dine, you will experience an unforgettable night filled with giggles. Throughout the duration of three hours, you will be served many Fine Dine dishes at your desired pace.

The dishes are seasonal and are chosen ahead of time using the freshest ingredients.

Throughout the night, local Israeli wine will be served which will correspond to the menu and music of choice. By the end of the night when you are full from the main course and enjoying the sweet desserts, half an hour of stand-up comedy will serve as the entertainment.

Additionally, a guest comedian, from one of Israel’s leading standup clubs will be joining me on stage. (context of the show will be according to the type of event.
