Professional Chef Ohad offers you a unique and intimate experience in central Paris. You will meet at the Marché d'Aligre where you'll learn about the seasonal fruit and vegetables, meet local vendors and get a glimpse into Ohad's weekly shopping routine. From vegetables and fruit to seafood, charcuterie, cheese and fresh bread, the market has everything. Together you'll decide what to cook for lunch and buy your ingredients at the market before making your way to Ohad's apartment (a 4 minute walk) for a dynamic and delicious cooking workshop.

Following his careful guidance and attention to detail, Chef Ohad will teach you to make the dishes that you decided on. You'll cook together, bake bread, drink wine and learn to plate each dish beautifully. At the end of the class, you'll take a seat at his dining table with your hard work laid out in front of you, including some dishes he prepared earlier, and enjoy your meal.

Ohad's passion for food and natural culinary talent will not disappoint. With over 22 years of cooking experience and a recipe book in the pipelines, you will be in safe hands. Hi! My name is Ohad Amzallag. I’ve been a chef for over 22 years and have lived in Paris for almost 2 years now. As a child I loved walking around Tel Aviv's street markets with my parents when they went grocery shopping: I fell in love with the colorful alleys, the colors and the smells that always awaken your senses.

Until recently I was the head chef of Shouk Paris, a restaurant that uses seasonal ingredients and whose menu changes every 4 months. I'm now working on my own recipe book which will soon be published and feature in Netflix's upcoming series about chefs in Paris. Exciting things are coming up!

I used to host intimate dinners at my home in Tel Aviv and would love to keep continue doing so now in Paris. I am passionate about food and look forward to sharing it with you.
