I'll have the pleasure of sharing this unique experience with you, cooking together the authentic recipes of Venetian cuisine and teaching you the techniques to carry them out.

I will lead you on a journey of discovery that will start from the historic Rialto market in the beating heart of the city, where we'll choose the best seasonal ingredients to prepare and cook an authentic Italian meal.

We will talk about the history of the market and its delicacies before heading to my typical Venetian house with its lovely private courtyard.

In my cooking workshop we will have fun preparing a 3-course meal step by step including: a first course of homemade pasta or gnocchi from scratch or the recipe for cooking a perfect risotto. A traditional second course of fish, meat or vegetables and finally a dessert; which you can replicate to surprise your guests once you get home.

End your class by sitting down to enjoy the meal together with a tasting of local wines.

Things to keep in mind: 
On Monday the fish market is closed, we will focus on meat and vegetables.
On Sunday the whole market is closed, we will focus more on the cooking class.

I'm Filippo, a Venetian chef who loves to share the passion for local food with people from all over the world.
I learned the traditional recipes with my grandma, passed down through my family. I began my career in the renowned restaurants of my region. 
To expand my knowledge I moved to Paris, where I learned the techniques and secrets of French haute cuisine.
After four-year experience in the French capital, I improved my English in Manchester working in a fine dining Restaurant.
Back recently in Venice, I worked at the renowned “Osteria al Ponte del Diavolo” on the Torcello's island to offer you an authentic  Venetian cooking experience.
