Join Lebanese Chef Carl and Italian Chef Michele for their VEGANUARY French/Lebanese inspired 5-course pop-up supper club with casual chic dining, hosted at Over Under in the heart of Notting Hill, with a speakeasy feel.
Carl and Michele’s fresh new dining concept 'Métropolitain' began with the food but has evolved into a community that aims to bring people together, to celebrate diversity, art and culture, whilst inspiring intrigue with creative and fun vegan cuisine. Métropolitain is conceptual. It is a little like stumbling into a French-inspired fashion show. Carl, Michele and their business partner, Elliot, have curated this vision into a series of pop-ups to grow a community of passionate foodies.
Allergens notice: though we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitisation, and follow the haccp procedures to avoid cross contamination, food may still contain traces of allergens because we operate in a rented kitchen that operates independently from us.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening with Carl and the team. Course after course of perfectly prepared food arrived in front of us as, and we were impressed at such an innovative interpretation of classic French cuisine. From the crispy vol au vent with creamy mushroom filling to beef bourguignon with a rich, dark sauce on to the cheese board and scrumptious desserts we could not have been more impressed - or well fed! Also, the whole experience was so well curated with attention to table decorations, presentation, service and the atmosphere.

Absolutely gorgeous flavors, by vegan and non-vegan standards (I am not vegan, my guest was). The portions were generous, the wine/cocktail list well thought out. Carl came out and spoke to every guests. Definitely recommend this experience. Truffle mac and cheese and aijo blanco were our favorites. The meringue lemon tart was spectacular.
