After the success of their first two pop-up supper clubs series, Chef Carl and Chef Michele are back in March! SPRINGTIME AT MÉTROPOLITAIN - A FRENCH VEGAN EXPERIENCE is an exclusive Eatwith supper club serving up casual-chic dining with a speakeasy feel, hosted at Over Under in the heart of Notting Hill.
Carl and Michele’s dining concept, 'Métropolitain', began with the food but has evolved into a community of passionate foodies that aims to bring people together to celebrate diversity, art and culture, whilst inspiring intrigue with creative and fun vegan cuisine. Guests can expect a conceptual experience - it’s a little like stumbling into a French-inspired fashion show.
Allergens notice: though we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitisation, and follow the haccp procedures to avoid cross contamination, food may still contain traces of allergens because we operate in a rented kitchen that operates independently from us.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening with Carl and the team. Course after course of perfectly prepared food arrived in front of us as, and we were impressed at such an innovative interpretation of classic French cuisine. From the crispy vol au vent with creamy mushroom filling to beef bourguignon with a rich, dark sauce on to the cheese board and scrumptious desserts we could not have been more impressed - or well fed! Also, the whole experience was so well curated with attention to table decorations, presentation, service and the atmosphere.

Absolutely gorgeous flavors, by vegan and non-vegan standards (I am not vegan, my guest was). The portions were generous, the wine/cocktail list well thought out. Carl came out and spoke to every guests. Definitely recommend this experience. Truffle mac and cheese and aijo blanco were our favorites. The meringue lemon tart was spectacular.
I had such a good evening at this event- the hospitality and atmosphere was so unique, warm and welcoming, and the food was consistently delicious and beautifully displayed. I would 100% recommend this!
