Cowshed Here we will see where cows are bred and milked, and have the opportunity to cuddle the newborn calves
Cheese Factory We will visit the cheese factory and watch the whole Parmigiano Reggiano making process: from the milk process, the curd cooking and the cheese shape making, up to the salting and seasoning process. Then we will visit the huge “caveau” where thousands of cheese shapes are laid in long rows in the silent seasoning room, enjoying the intense scent of this unique cheese!
What can I say about our experience with Claudio except EXCEPTIONAL. Absolutely amazing morning started with a traditional Reggiani breakfast item known as Erbazzone... Then on to the factory where we got to see (and taste!) every step of the making of the most amazing cheese. The passion and knowledge Claudio brings to this experience is second to none. The morning ended with tasting of 3 different ages of parmigiano reggiano, lambrusco wine and the most delectable local meats. If I could I would give Claudio 10 stars.
