The area is Impruneta (a small Chianti village with a precious square and church), 12 km from Firenze through a nice uphill road that goes through olive groves, vineyards, old Renaissance villas and that looks at Firenze from the top - 20 mins driving, 30-40 mins by bus. Often Jo's partner sits with us for lunch or dinner and if you bring children also our three children may be around...
A passion for art and culture has led Jo to explore the area, Florence's surroundings and Chianti, looking always for non obvious treasures in the wealth of Renaissance Tuscany. Sharing her discoveries with visiting friends brought her to organise outings combining visits to villas, churches and private gardens as well as wine and cheese producers. Always ending with a dinner cooked together at home.
Momi, a sports lover, organises bike tours in the area too.
