I love peruvian food. It's the food of my childhood and it is rich in every way, in great part because of all the influences we received from other cuisines of the world. When you mix Japanese techniques and ingredients with the ones from Peru...they just match perfectly! The explosive result of this fusion is known as "Nikkei".
Our soiree starts in my balcony with a Pisco Sour, the Peruvian signature cocktail, and the best proven ice breaker ever! Then we'll sit inside where I will serve four to five dishes inspired in the Peruvian-Japaneese fusion like the "Tiradito", a sort of sashimi sparked by peruvian sauces, a traditional peruvian dish transformed in a maki and a traditional Japanese pork stew accompanied by Peruvian beans. The dessert will be light and fruity and will surprise you as well.
