This tasting menu includes some of our most satisfying and indulgent dishes. We begin with a greeting from our host McKenzie, a glass of red paired with our first course, and a sophisticated table set with Spicy Buttered Pecans & Candied Peppered Walnuts.
While the first entrée is being prepared, you can enjoy our indulgent, Curried-Peanut Roasted-Tomato soup topped with Sage Crostini.
Our first course is a Sweet Potato Gnocchi in a Browned Butter Sauce sprinkled with Chestnuts & Crisp Sage, which captures the flavors of autumn perfectly.
We follow with a small Intermezzo of Citrus Sorbet to cleanse the palate.
Our second main course is Shrimp Étouffée, a viscerally satisfying dish flavored with the Holy Trinity of Cajun cuisine, held by a pork based roux, & served with herbed rice.
Our last entrée is a slow cooked Braised Beef Short Rib atop a mound of Horseradish Yukon Mash and accented with micro greens & au jus.
Finally, for dessert, we wanted to go over the top, so I’ve prepared a Bourbon Gelato, served with a Buttermilk Gala Apple Fritter.
When booked, this menu can be expected. However I always like to test new dishes when I have a chance, and you may find an exciting addition or two.
