Winter... time for warmth, cuddles... and food. Winter is that time of the year when we like to protect ourselves with layers of warm clothes, and nest under layers of soft blankets. Allow me therefore to tempt you with layers of delicious Italian food... Following the summer menu of my Italian culinary journey, join me (again or for the first time) for my winter menu! A six-course dinner(Aperitivo, Primo, two Secondi and a decadent Dessert) in which each dish is made of layers of mouthwatering Italian flavors, from evergreen classics such as Melanzane alla Parmigiana to new combinations such as my tower of lentil puree, lemon-flavored mashed potatoes and pumpkin dices sauteed in sage and spinach. Allow me to bring you, layer after layer, on another journey through the flavors of my home country, Italy... Dinner will be accompanied by Psagot's award-winning Shiraz wine, produced from vines planted in ancient limestone terraces in the mountains located North of Jerusalem, 900 meters (almost 3000 feet) above sea level. And just like the summer menu, I promise: this time too, you will not notice the dinner is actually vegan... And if you already came to me once, you know it's true :).
