Farofa, Bobó and Caipirinha: A traditional Brazilian meal with a view in Urca!
Address provided after booking
"I invite you to experience a real Brazilian family's traditional lunch in my balcony! This menu reminds me of my childhood, helping my mother with these delicious recipes. So I will prepare this meal the way I learned it from my family.
I'll be serving a shrimp plate called, "bobó de camarão"- a recipe that puts together the indigenous, African and Portuguese influences. The dessert is a passion fruit mousse, a dish you can find in a Brazilian family Sunday lunch. The meal will also include a glass of caipirinha. Caipirinha means "people from the countryside, " and it's a famous drink with an interesting story that I will share with you over lunch!
After our meal, we'll go for a walk through the streets of Urca, the Sugar Loaf neighborhood and finish at the famous " Mureta da Urca" sidewalk with the Guanabara bay view! "
