For this meal I will be cooking from my favorite cookbook author, who is, like me, a fan of healthy, tasty, seasonal, fresh food. I have been a fan and follower of Ottolenghi for many years; in fact, an autographed menu from his restaurant from a visit to London many years ago adorns my kitchen walls. Filled with fresh produce, herbs and tasty vegetables, this meal will be perfect with our local California bounty!
Warm Chickpeas with Hummus, Pita and Crudités
Ottolenghi's Jerusalem is my favorite book and will be drawn from for inspiration.
Mejadra: Lentis with Basmati Rice, Caramelized Onions and Labneh.
Plant-based or even vegetarian options are always an option when it comes to Ottolenghi, just let me know beforehand.
