Persian Nouveau & Eurostyle Fusion - Caspian Chicken is Back!

This is a dining event featuring three of Chef Farideh Knopf's most successful dishes from her Persian & Mediterranean Eurostyle restaurant Zafron. Duck & pistachio terrine served her tomato and chilli jam, this was a flavorful favorite at her former premises known for its unique slant on Persian and Mediterranean cuisines. Main course is Caspian chicken: tenderloins marinated in pomegranate molasses then rolled in bread crumbs, pine nuts and macadamias then oven baked. This is then plated with a delicious French style cream sauce with saffron and white wine, then drizzled with pomegranate molasses and accompanied by wilted spinach and carmelized carrot. The meal finishes with a classic creme brulee with vanilla bean and fresh fruit.
Smoked Duck Terrine
Eurostyle terrine with smoked duck, chicken, roasted pistachios, and thyme- with just a hint of Dijon. Accompanied by Chef’s Tomato Chili Jam .
The signature dish for Chef’s former restaurant Zafron, this culinary favorite combines Persian flavours in a French style cream, white wine and saffron sauce with nut encrusted chicken tenderloins marinated in pomegranate molasses. Fusion heaven!
