Coconut & Curry Leaves: 7-Course Sri Lankan Dinner
Address provided after booking
Join us for an evening exploring the cuisine of Sri Lanka, an island nation with a unique culinary heritage that has been shaped and influenced by Dutch colonialists, Arab traders and the surrounding Indian subcontinent. My seven-course menu will guide you through the best of what the tropical island has to offer, giving you a taste of popular street-side snacks, creative fusion dishes inspired by the beachside resorts, hand-picked Ceylon teas from the hill country, and of course, all the staples in an everyday home-style Sri Lankan meal.
We’ll welcome you with a signature tropical cocktail upon arrival and serve appetizers over introductions. We’ll continue chit-chat over a full dinner consisting of different curries, lentils and a variety of accompaniments served family-style in Sri Lankan earthen claypots. An ever-popular dessert and tea at the end for a sweet finale.
So come on over and enjoy a cozy evening in our home exploring a new cuisine and making some new friends!
