Have you thought about making ramen noodles yourselves?
At this fun, interactive event, you'll experience how to make ramen noodles from flour and water and enjoy the finished bowl of heavenly ramen with the noodles that you made and either tonkotsu (pork bone broth) or an aromatic vegan broth (by request in advance).
Here is what to expect: You will first enjoy our home-made pot stickers with home made wrappers. Then, we will spend the first 15-25 minutes making ramen noodle dough and cut the noodles. Then, we will cook the noodles that you made with sides including sliced chicken thighs, menma (fermented bamboo shoots), wood ear mushrooms, bean sprouts and nori, sprinkled with chopped scallion. For vegan/vegetarian requests, we will substitute chicken with wakame (seaweed) and beech mushrooms (Buna-shimeji).
We made our nine-hour tonkotsu pork bone and collagen broth base earlier in the morning with dashi (kombu and katsuobushi / bonita flakes). By request, we can substitute tonkotsu with an aromatic vegan broth.
We will wind down the event with our famous home-made lemongrass gelato and/or chocolate matcha paleo cake (depends on availability).
Whether you'd like to get your hands dirty with a hands-on noodle making experience or just watch us do it, you're welcome to join. You can join our community event or request a specific date/time for friends get-together, birthday celebration, bachelorette party and company team building event. Please inquire details if you are interested in having this event host at your home or your specific venue.
This is a BYOB event so feel free to bring your favorite beverages.
