Welcome to an afternoon of tea and tartines. This menu was designed specifically to introduce my fans to a marvelous new tea company called The Blue House (www.bluehousetea.com). The Blue House Tea concept was birthed at the heart of one of Beirut's most charming neighborhoods, now brought to the US for the first time through my private event.
Each tartine and each scone is served with a carefully selected blend of tea, all of which are organic, first bloom.

lightly salted Persian cucumbers, butter, a sprinkle of lemon zest on organic white bread served with the Nicholas Sursock Blend - White Silver Needle toasted with Jasmine
cream cheese, capers, julienned onions and a splash of fresh lemon juice on toasted sourdough served with the Churchill Blend - Ceylon Souchong
Spanish onions sautéed with fresh sage and thyme, red wine, Indian curry, dried apricots, homemade pickles on toasted rye served with Phoenician Silk - a blend of five black teas, aged in honey and royal jelly, with Persian saffron
clotted cream, strawberry jam served with Ginseng Oolong
orange infused mascarpone, cranberry orange marmalade served with Organic Earl Grey
