Homeakase, n. - A combination of the words “home” and “omakase”. Omakase is a meal consisting of dishes selected by the chef to create the best experience for the guests. Homeakase is my hope to bring the polished quality of classic omakase dining to the comfortable, casual home environment.
I've had the privilege to dine with many master sushi chefs and have taken 15 years of experimentation and transformation to bring you this fun experience. I look forward to meeting you!

Cucumber Salad with Ikura
Salmon Roe topped, thinly sliced Japanese cucumber marinated in seasoned vinegar.
Local Filtered Sake
From Takara Sake in Berkeley, CA.
Light Shoyu Ramen
A double broth of 6 hour chicken and dashi. Topped with soy sauce marinated, perfectly soft-boiled egg, 16 hour sous vide soy marinated pork , and scallions.
Sushi (5 pc Nigiri)
Home blend soy sauce marinated lean tuna.
Sweet shrimp nigiri topped with umami salt.
Seared Salmon Belly
Seared fatty salmon belly topped with own roe and umami salt.
Scallop topped with cold-smoked Pacific flake salt.
Thinly sliced and seared by blow torch. Finished with a rare Northern Italian Alba truffle grey sea salt.
