Welcome to our family-style dinner party exploring the glorious side of Hungarian communist gastronomy. 40 years of communism in Hungary focused on destroying fine things. That said, some surprising culinary innovations rose from the wreckage. Join us for dinner and we’ll share a light-hearted, fun, delicious dining experience with you.
Your hosts are cousins, Mark and Nori. Mark is a wine professional working in both the U.S. and Europe. Nori is a food revolutionary reclaiming traditional recipes via her popular foodie blog and cookbook.
We have a 4-course dinner focusing on a gourmet side of Hungary’s communist era. We’ll tell stories about the bizarre origins of the food and the exciting renaissance of Hungary’s wine culture.
