My menu is a journey from Tel Aviv to California, with references to my Russian roots. Sounds complicated? Perhaps, but equally exciting. Sonoma County is a beautiful place and the food is inspired by the ocean, river and forest around us, as well as my cultural heritage.
During the lunch, we'll sip a seasonal cocktail on the patio, while nibbling on Not-Your-Mom's deviled eggs and colorful crostini. The main course will vary according to moods and inspirations, and can include wild-caught salmon 'paella' or Jerusalem meatballs with a local twist, accompanied by Melissa's cauliflower and barley salad and an East-West bread pudding. Desserts are straight from my mom's secret cookbook: everyone's favorite "sweet salami" and mini pavlovas with berries and cream. Enjoy the view, meet wonderful folks and take home a new experience .
