We greet our guests with typical Portuguese aperitifs - "minis" (a traditional small beer) and "Moscatel", a great fortified muscat wine from Setúbal region. We then start by serving several appetizers: Scrambled eggs with an "Alheira" sausage, stuffed with game meat, seasoned olives, Sardine Pâté and "Azeitão" Cheese. We also include "Caldo Verde", a very tasty soup with black pork "Chouriço". You'll have to be careful to leave some room for the main course. The main course for this meal is an adaptation of two National Portuguese symbols - Maize Bread and CodFish, mixed together into a wonderful baked loaf. We finish with one home made dessert :"Leite Creme" (a Crème Brûlée variation") - usually each guest repeats it at least once. During dinner we will serve good Portuguese Wine from Douro or Alentejo regions. There is also water and homemade lemonade.
