This dinner is meant to be a special shabbat family dinner. My family is my inspiration for this meal as this is something that we always do together - it's tradition! What can be better than sitting around the dinner table with family and friends and enjoying good food and good conversation. I want all of you to be able to understand the special meaning behind shabbat family dinner!
We start with Traditional Shabbat Kiddush with sweet wine and Challa
As far as food goes, Starters include: Chopped liver with home-made pickles and onion comfiture Green Tabbouleh with Pomegranate seeds Charcoal smoked Eggplant with a touch of homemade Tehini and many more surprises... Served with bread and freshly baked Challa
Traditional Chicken Soup with carrot and lokshen must have.:)
Main Course: Roasted chicken, baked in garlic , thyme and white wine Traditionally made meatballs cooked with a lot of fresh tomatoes or Shnitzles served with white rice Pesian style "one by one" Roasted potatoes - my home speciality Traditionally made meatballs cooked with a lot of fresh tomatoes or Shnitzles served with white rice made in a traditional "one by one" style Freshly picked green salad with my secret citrus vinaigrette dressing and more surprises according to the market and season.
And for dessert: A seasonal fruit platter / Ice crem Home made cakes and cookies Tea / coffee with homemade cookies
