What to expect at Dadi's place
We just returned from celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday at Dadi’s home. We had such a wonderful time with Dadi and his wife Sofia. He and his wife were warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. His incredible attention to detail, charming conversation and delicious food prepared with love and with Dadi’s unique twist made for a memorable birthday and a unique night out in Reykavik. He even lit a birthday candle on our dessert to mark the occasion! We even bought a piece of Dadi’s art, although you are certainly under no obligation to purchase but we inquired and now we will remember this birthday and Dadi’s hospitality for years to come. Thank you again Dadi!
Wonderful evening! Dadi and his wife were lovely hosts! The meal was delicious, the company was great....an all around good time. They were so inviting and had great stories about Iceland's history and where to visit during our stay. We ended the night with good-belly laughs, a little bit of yoga and the northern lights. And of course.....the food was divine. We had a cod appetizer, roasted lamb and potatoes main course with a traditional skyr dessert. What a treat. We will certainly recommend them to everyone!!!!!
