I started cooking lessons 7 years ago. The experience of teaching and hosting new people at home is really fun! I also have students coming every week for cooking lessons. Having grown up in northern Tuscany, spent several years in Milan and then Matera in the south of Italy, and now living in Rome, I have a broad knowledge of the country’s many and varied wonderful dishes. I started cooking when I was little with my parents, both great cooks! I worked in Tuscany in Lucca, I cooked for events in amazing villas.

Many thanks for the lovely cooking and eating last week. We really enjoyed meeting you and preparing and eating the food! The other guests were really interesting too and it was a very enjoyable evening. It’s the first time that we have tried cooking in someone else’s kitchen and thought that it worked very well. You had organised everything very well and helped us all learn a lot about Roman cooking. Many thanks again and best of luck with your cooking enterprises.
Not only is Sandra is an amazing cook, but she is also a very personable and sweet hostess. When our flight got delayed and interfered with our scheduled cooking time, Sandra was very understanding and flexible and rescheduled us for the following night so that we do not loose our money. Cooking with her was so much fun and we learned some pretty cool Italian recipes that we can't wait to master when we get back home. Even in a small group setting, she made sure to check in one on one with everyone. Loved the experience and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I would highly recommend her and her class to anyone visiting Rome! You won't be disappointed.
We had an amazing evening with Sandra. She is so welcoming and makes you feel at home straight away. We learnt how to make authentic Italian food, which was absolutely delicious! I can certainly recommend cooking with Sandra. Thanks a lot for the great evening and all the useful tips. Hope to be back again soon.
