Growing up in China, I looked forward to Chinese New Year Eve, because it was dumpling time. My whole family would get together to make dumplings. There was no TV in the background, just the whole family talking, laughing and making the most delicious dumplings to welcome the New Year. I cherished every minute of it. Now that I am away from home, making dumplings is a way for me to connect with my roots. I want to share this beautiful experience of making and sharing food with more people!

What to expect at Ally's place
Really friendly atmosphere . Peter( my son Aged 14) and I had a great time learning how to make 2 different styles of making dumplings. We also loved the cookie. Thank you so much Ally .
Fantastic! My boyfriend and I enjoyed every moment of the cooking class with Ally. She was a wonderfully friendly host making us feel at ease straight away, offering us drinks on arrival, and introducing us to the other guests. The class was fun as well as informative, and she was so kind and patient with me when I was struggling to get the technique of the second dumpling folds. And as for the food - PHENOMINIAL!! The vegetarian dumplings were SO good, we couldn't stop eating them. Ally was great about my allergies too and made me a vegan Chinese desert which was so different to anything I've tried before, it was great. I can't recommend this experience enough, we both enjoyed it so much. If you get the chance, you must take this class!
Ally was a fabulous hostess, we were made very welcome and Ally ensured that the group bonded. She provided us with great instruction and tips on how dumplings were made and we had enormous fun putting everything together. Best of all we got to meet fabulous people, eat some wonderful food and enjoy some great conversations as the group came from all over the world. We had such great fun and I would highly recommend this experience to all.
Brilliant experience. Ally incredibly friendly and welcoming. A very hands on class with superb food. A long way to go before perfecting my dumpling technique!
