Join me and discover Viennas Culinary Heritage!
Having lived in France, Canada, and Belgium, I returned to my hometown Vienna after 20 years.
As a child, my mother would write recipes in a cooking diary for me to preserve the taste of Jewish home cooking. I've continued this tradition with family and friends and am eager to share it with you.
My cooking style is vibrant and genuine, reflecting comfort food from the old world.
I prioritize unprocessed, regional ingredients from farmers markets. While I enjoy experimenting, certain favorites often reappear on my menu. I have a penchant for citrus fruits and garlic, especially when combined!
Incorporating numerous spices and fresh herbs like coriander and dill, my dishes often carry an oriental flair with a hint of spice. My meals adhere to Kosher guidelines, offering either vegetarian and dairy options or a hearty meat dish – but never both simultaneously.
Food memories inspire me to recreate dishes like Malabi, an almond milk and rosewater-based dessert that captures the essence of oriental street food.
BUT: You might eat or even bake with me the most delishious Applestrudel in Vienna!
