A Lebanese in London, I love experimenting with traditional Lebanese recipes, researching the stories behind the dishes I grew up with, and sharing them with fellow Londoners. The dishes I cook blend the traditions of my dad’s Baalbeck and my mom’s South Lebanon. Their tastes crossed villages and towns before finally settling in the capital Beirut and into our family. What makes dishes extra special, however, is the company, the atmosphere and the colours of the Beiruti table.
Other than cooking (and eating), I spend my spare time boxing and caring for my indoor mini-jungle.
