Einat 's story
I was born in Metulla, fourth generation in a family of farmers. My great grandfather was one of the first settlers in northern Israel, near the Lebanese border. I am married to Gidion, a photographer for the Israeli Broadcasting Agency. We have two daughters who live in Tel Aviv. I am a clinical dietician who specializes in youth nutrition, eating disorders and sports nutrition. Throughout the years I've become increasingly curious about home cooking due in great part to my clients. I found myself trying new, healthy recipes and having a lot of fun experimenting and hosting my friends and family. In the last four years I joined a Slow Food organization and traveled to Italy as an Israeli representative at the Terra Madre Convention and the Saloona Del Gusto exhibition. I'm a huge fan of the Slow Food principle of cooking; "clean, fair and fresh." My outlook as a dietician is to create healthy and tasty food and not focus on low calorie and restrictive diets.
