Blessed as I live and work in a location that allows me to source a plethora of uniquely Greek products that I can use in my recipes and share with others. We live in a beautiful and unique location in Athens- our home is inside a huge park! I work in the food industry with one of Greece's top chefs. We met when we were both finalists on the first ever season of Masterchef in Greece. He went on to win the show and we started working together shortly thereafter. I am responsible for the research and development of original new recipes with local and international products used in the company's restaurants, magazines, tv shows and You Tube channel.

What to expect at Yannis's place
Review for Thanasis and Mando We booked places at the beautiful home of Yannis and Robert situated in the park in New Filadelfia and were treated to an amazing night! We began the meal with an aperitif of Tsipouro infused with saffron from Kozani and lemon which was stunning. The first course was a selection of olives and olive oils from different regions of Greece served with sourdough bread and rusks from the island of Kythera. Yannis explained the provenance of each oil and bowl of olives and we were able to ascertain the difference in flavours from different regions. The next course was a marvellous cream of broccoli soup with miso topped with mizithra cheese and fig jam-it was superb. The main course was the softest and tastiest rolled, herb-crusted lamb with crispy roast potatoes and roasted vegetables-truly amazing! The dessert was a homemade pear tart served with mastic flavoured ice cream a visual and sensory delight and light as a feather. The meal was served with both white and Rose wines which complimented the flavours of the food very well. We can highly recommend this experience to all Eatwith customers as an experience not to be missed. The hosts were charming and knowledgeable about all aspects of the meal and we were treated like really special guests in their truly unique home.
