After over a decade working behind a desk, Ron made the decision to follow his heart and start his career over as a chef. Formally trained at the French Culinary Institute (now the International Culinary Center) in New York City, Ron has cooked at some of the best restaurants in NYC and has had amazing mentors along the way.
In mid-2016, Ron and his wife moved out to Long Island and he took a break from the demanding restaurant life to care for his newborn son.
He signed on to EatWith because he wants to share his love and knowledge of food with the people around him in his new home. He specializes in New American cuisine, preferring to highlight local seasonal produce, but also does not shy away from using strong spices from the Middle East and Asia. You can expect him to pay just as much attention to the vegetable as he does to the meat.

I was excited to go to this dinner and it wound up being beyond my expectations. The food was inventive and delicious. Ronald and Kristen were warm and professional and we hit it off well with our fellow guests.
