First generation New Yorker. My father came from Greece and my mother from Morocco, so I grew up with some of the best tasting foods. As I grew, my passion for food also grew. My cooking reflects who I am. I'm about bringing to the table, not just a meal, but an experience. I like to bring life to my food, memories of the past. I put my heart and soul in every dish that comes out of my kitchen. Food should not just be eaten because you are hungry. It should fill your soul, not just your stomach. What to expect at Michael's place
My first EatWith was with Chef Michael and I am very glad it was. We had the pleasure of tasting his 'Flavors of Israel'. Not only was the food delicious but Michael was very friendly and attentive. He was genuinely excited about the food and about sharing it with me and my friends. He made us feel very welcome in his home. He explained each dish as he brought it out and was happy to answer all our food/non-food related questions. I would have eaten so much more had I not stuffed my face with the first couple courses :). I definitely recommend choosing his events if you ever get the chance.
