Celebrating a special occasion? Book the whole table
It is no coincidence that my last name, Mesa, translates to “table.” I was born to be a host. I am hospitality professional with 15+ years in hotel openings, catering management, and special events. My specialties include planning, business/concept development, decor, cooking for dinner/cocktail parties, and creating specialty cocktails. I am also a writer. My articles, essays, and profiles appear in The New York Times, NY Press, SF Weekly, Interview, OUT, Four Two Nine, The Huffington Post-among others. Why are sit-down dinners so powerful? The underlying main ingredient is the community aspect. Every guest is a surprise. It tears down people’s perceptions of borders, allowing them to meet and “break bread” with different nationalities, races, genders, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The best way to make lasting memories, in a new city, is through a dinner party. *C/O my Instagram for pics of my food, events and life: emilliom1 **Please let me know if you have any food allergy/restrictions. **I only cook with fresh/seasonal ingredients.

What to expect at Emillio's place
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating
I celebrated my 29th birthday with a group of friends in Emillio's dinner. First of all, Emillio's place is absolutely gorgeous, and it's right next to Painted Ladies and Alamo Square too, what a prime location! His place is also filled with unique paintings and furniture pieces, and I love how colorful they are. Second of all, Emillio's hospitality is one of a kind. He greeted each one of us personally at the door as people dropped in one after another. We got to learn about his culture and experiences, and he has truly made my birthday dinner special. At the end of the dinner, he even gave me a denim jacket as a present! and the jacket fits me perfectly! If you looking for an authentic home dining experience, this is definitely a the spot that you don't wanna miss.
