I'm in my thirties
What to expect at Patrick's place
What a great dinner party experience! I had a truly memorable time and I'm ready to do it again! I know it’s not that easy to organize such an event but Chef Patrick and Alex managed it along with Joyce, our wonderful hostess! I really want to thank them for a wonderful evening. Chef Patrick and Alex are both delightful and very welcoming people. They met us at the door with a light and refreshing cocktail which was very nice to sip on while meeting new friends, chatting and looking on as final dinner preparations were coming together. When we were all seated at a nicely set and decorated long table, and as we were served each course, Chef Patrick told us stories about the delicious food that he prepared for us. For our first course, we enjoyed cannolis stuffed with a mixture of avocado, peas, jalapeno and crabmeat. The second course was homemade spinach pasta with a sauce that was made with five types of mushrooms. The third course was another fantastic homemade pasta dish made with the best three-meat bolognese sauce that I have ever tasted. Our last course was a very unique cold-molded dessert, I think it was called panna cotta, made with cream, sugar, vanilla and gelatin served over buttered cookie crumbs and a raspberry puree. It was simply divine. We ate and drank too much but couldn't help ourselves; everything was outstanding. I lived in Italy for 3 1/2 years and Italian food will always be my favorite. Thank you for preparing an excellent dinner party for us! It was a very special night indeed!
