Prior to becoming an EatWith host, I was in product management and marketing for start-up tech companies. As I am deeply passionate about cooking and food, I was intrigued by the concept of EatWith in connecting people via food. I applied and joined EatWith about three years ago. During the soul searching process in figuring out what I should excel as a chef/host at EatWith, I have experimented many cuisine and dinner events. I do realize that my ultimate comfort food has always been a bowl of hearty, delicious noodle soup. So I began to offer a fun, interactive ramen making class a couple of years ago. My guests get to make their own noodles and consume the noodles that they make. That also prompted me to spend some time in Japan to learn the proper way of making ramen. I attended the International Ramen School and to be certified as a ramen master. Coming back to the US, I did not want to open up a restaurant. Instead I wanted to continue expanding my ramen making class business. Today I'm hosting about 300-400 ramen fans every month with my ramen making party event. I host both social dining via EatWith as well as many private birthday and company team building events.

What to expect at Manville's place
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating
This was such a great event. Manville steps you through what it takes to make ramen noodles and all the ingredients that affect it. Then you actually go through the steps and make your own batch of noodles. The event ends with Manville cooking the noodles you've made and serving it up in a DELICIOUS ramen broth. It was great; I highly recommend this event.
