What to expect at BANQUET's place
we hosted an absolutely fantastic corporate event with Dave and the team where not only was the venue amazing but the food was to die for (truffle arancini was a personal favourite!). Dave was extremely accommodating and the wine pairing that he offered was really helpful when organising a big team event. would definitely recommend to anyone looking either for a sociable evening amongst friends or who are looking to host corporate events. a very enjoyable evening - thank you Dave!
What a wonderful dining experience! We were greeted by the lovely Michelle and Dave when we arrived and given a delicious gin and lemon cocktail to kickstart our tastebuds! The boat we were dining on is nothing like I’ve ever experienced. A perfectly chilled rooftop terrace, with a stylish and envious interior. The evening’s food was nothing short of perfection. Dave is a true talent! The truffle arancini balls were heavenly, the lamb was melt in your mouth and the spicy pineapple and ginger desert was a wonderful way to round things off. So good to find a new and exciting dining experience in London. Can’t wait to see where Banquet goes next, we’ll definitely be going to another event!
Welcomed aboard and invited to sit on deck, where a pre-dinner cocktail was presented. Followed by a selection of interesting canapés, individually described when all guests had arrived. Table setting, ambiance was just right. Dave welcomed us to his banquet and told us what he had prepared for the evening. I advised beforehand that we don’t eat fish, and an alternative was easily provided. Course after course was a treat to taste and for the eye. Stunning pea pannacotta, wonderful deep fried porcini croquettes, mini mackerel burger with accompanying citrus beer- very different, and a splendidly tender lamp rump that had been pan fried. The final desert of ginger cake, roasted pineapple with ice cream ended the true banquet. Nothing appeared too much trouble from our hosts, and it was a wonderful evening that I can thoroughly recommend. My only constructive feedback is that coffee afterwards would have nicely rounded off the evening.
