I have two lives, one in Houston, Texas and one in a small village in the Languedoc, France, and I love to share them both with my guests. My Houston high-rise home is filled with French culture and Parisian style with stunning, unobstructed views. Although I'm only a few blocks from the Galleria, you will feel like you are in a sophisticated French bistro when you eat with me. When I'm at home in the Languedoc, I love to shop village markets and cook. I've taken many cooking classes over the years in DC and France, and I am passionate about La Vie Francaise. I visited the region regularly for many years before purchasing my village home and am well-versed in the region’s history as well as the best flea markets, marchés and restaurants. I also teach cooking and home canning classes. My goal is to provide a true French experience that you will always remember. Bon appetit!

What to expect at Tess's place
We had a wonderful evening with Tess, amazing 360 degree views from her terrace around the small, quaint village of Neffiès and surrounding countryside as we nibbled on olives and sausages from the market and local endive with Roquefort cheese. Lively conversation and copious wine paired nicely with the chicken and the dreamiest potatoes au gratin, followed with a fresh market-green salad and finishing with a yummy hummingbird cake. Tess, a hostess with the mostest, has a wealth of local knowledge and we thoroughly enjoyed spending our evening with her. Thanks Tess, Joan and Brian
