Boris has lived and worked for many years in Rome, Italy, where he developed his strong passion and love for good food. In 2008, Boris went to the Tree of Life in Patagonia, Arizona to become a Spiritual Life Food Instructor. After his return, Boris founded his company b.alive! – the art of gourmet raw cuisine (www.balive.org), and has been working in the art of gourmet raw food preparation ever since. In Berlin, Boris is running a private dinner club, offering caterings, personal coaching as well as teaching courses and workshops on raw food. Internationally, Boris has been organizing exclusive dinner events in Rome, Geneva and Denmark, as well as co-organizing and catering workshops and retreats. For three times in a row, Boris has catered for the world renowned Yoga Teacher Training Radiantly Alive in Ubud, Bali, where he also implemented a raw chef apprenticeship program in October 2010. He has worked with chefs like Simone Powers, dessert chef at Café Gratitude, Matt Samuelson from Living Light, or Frank Giglio, founder of Giglio’s Finest. Since January this year, Boris started his own yearly b.alive! raw food retreat in the North of Bali. Moreover, he is head chef for the Raw Life Festival, Europe’s biggest raw food event in Sweden, taking place in the beginning of August each year.
