Beautiful dinner. Cannot wait to attend the next event. Highlights included black pudding with pommes puree and pickled apple, and spezzatino of sika deer shoulder with apple and juniper. So many sophisticated and complex flavours, superbly balanced, and paired with lovely wine and spirits. Excellent hosts, and warm, cozy atmosphere. Bravo!
Wonderful night, food, ambiance and company. Heaven and Earth is such an unusual and unique concept. Chef Myles has really put great care and attention into selecting each element of his dishes both for flavour complement as well as linkage to his unusual theme. The deer was incredibly tender and flavoursome and I was really surprised to hear he'd obtained collard greens as he'd helped a colleague in Cornwall start growing it in the UK. You won't be disappointed after a night with your gracious hosts, Myles and Jane.
