Mabuhay! Kamusta ka? How are you? Kumain ka na? Have you eaten? We are The Adobros and we are a Filipino supper club. Our mission? To feed the hungry masses of London with our brand of home-cooked and hearty Filipino food, one meal at a time. Based out of our flat in Southeast London, we have created a dining experience that we feel captures the best of the Filipino food culturr we grew up with: the warm welcome, the social sharing, the festive feasting and, of course, the distinctively delicious flavours of our take on Filipino classics. Think of crispy and succulent Adobo Chicken Wings; of luscious and juicy Laing Lumpia; of meltingly tender Lechon Porchetta; of rich and savoury Beef Short Rib Kare Kare; of sweet and indulgent Leche Flan; and think of tropically delicious Buko Pie. Hungry yet? We are! So what are you waiting for? Kain na tayo! Let's eat now!

What to expect at Mark's place
This was my third time at Adobros, and it has never disappointed. Very good restaurant-quality Filipino food. The host explains each dish, and its origins if applicable, when it is served so guests not only get to taste authentic Filipino food but also appreciate what it's all about. Mark, his mom and his wife are great hosts. The location of the supper club, their house, is very cosy and quite pretty. It's very accessible to public transportation: bus, rail and the Overground (less than 10 minutes by train from London Bridge). It's a very casual supper club (no need to dress up) and the guests are a good mix, and most have not had Filipino food before nor gone to a supper club. Being not too sociable, I was a bit apprehensive the first time I went to Adobros, thinking I would be overwhelmed in a small setting. My fears were unfounded; everyone was very nice and conversation flowed. It's bring your own bottle, and you don't have to share it with other guests. Needless to say I am coming back to Adobros for more.
Such a fun evening - food was amazing and the hosts were super friendly. Was great to chat with mark , his wife and mum , and also meet harry the hedgehog !! The beef short rib Kare Kare was amazing as were the adobo chicken wings. They’d also made lactose free ube ice cream which was amazing, and the ube cake was delicious - his mums carrot cake recipe replacing the carrot with ube! Would definitely recommend and will be back 😁 thank you !
