Katrina and Katya aka Rosehip + Rye began in 2012 with a (modest!) aim to revolutionise the image of Eastern-European food in the UK. From Estonia and Russia to Georgia and beyond, Rosehip + Rye bring the flavours of the ‘New East’ to London. Natural, home-cooked food, with elegance and exceptional provenance. Having worked with the likes of the Victoria and Albert Museum, Royal Academy of Arts, Pushkin House and Watts gallery, Katrina and Katya are now catering for events, deliver parcels of food across London - and continue with pop-up experiences! Karina Baldry is a Muscovite and author of ‘Russia on a Plate’. Her summers were spent in the Caucasus where she discovered flavours and herbs of the south. They became essential in her cooking. Katrina (Katya) Kollegaeva is a food writer (Guardian, FT, Time Out restaurant reviewer 2009-2012) and sustainable food specialist with a background in food anthropology. She grew up in Estonia to a Crimean dad and a Ukrainian mother. We always say that food never feeds the belly alone...

Under a very unordinary idea of having a dinner in a forest there’s an immersive feast in the ambience of senses, literature, music and memories. Like if you’re moving forward with the real life and stepping back in times when dining has been a gathering for the new beginning. Delicious dinner prepared by Karina & Katrina consists out of deliberately picked tastes. To experience, to sense, to mix in with the breathing of forest.
