In 2015 Gabriel Waterhouse left the grand surrounds of Michelin-starred Galvin La Chapelle with the aim of making fine dining accessible. He bought a table from Ikea and began welcoming diners into his modest Bethnal Green home for a more informal culinary experience. Since then The Water House Project has hosted thousands of hungry diners, been featured in TimeOut and Monocle magazine, and was awarded 'Top 5 London supper club' status by The Evening Standard. He has had to buy a second table.

What to expect at Gabriel's place
You know? When the food is a feast to your taste buds, perfectly flavours that blend even if not intuitive, and what is happening in your mouth is so amazing that you finally enjoy the tasting more than the eating? That is Gabriel's cooking! Start with the most delicious artichoke and truffle veloute, continue with unexpected, delicious food, surprising combinations, lush plating and great atmosphere...and then you have the cheese & pear sorbet to top it all! Definitely one of the must go Supperclubs in London!
We ate the most amazing good, the flavour combination was superb, the presentation and attention to detail was like a Michelin star restaurant. The group was also very friendly and into their food. Excellent evening, would definitely recommend and will book again. Well done. Jane
