Hello, my name is Androniki and I live with my husband in a small, traditional village close to the town of Rethymno. In this village, Loutra, I grew up and created along with my husband our own family. I am cooking for my family and my friends for many many years while my husband is growing season vegetables and fruits for our needs. My knowledge around cooking comes from our mothers. We enjoy Cretan cuisine because we grew up with its taste and aroma. We like to take care of our land and produce our own olive oil. We love that our children (in contrast with fast-food era) learned to cook their healthy daily food. So, today that our children have gone away to their own homes, we have the pleasure to host guests from all around the world in our house. We cook, taste and share with them, the magic of the traditional Cretan cuisine!!!

Absolutely amazing cooking experience. The food was fantastic and niki was incredible- so informative and made the experience. Their home is stunning and such a fantastic setting. We would highly recommend. We also bought our 6 month old son and they were brilliant with him and made the experience so relaxing for us.

Amazing cooking class, we’ve already made one of the dishes! This is such a wonderful experience! Beautiful environment and people. Absolutely love that a recipe print out is provided at the start so you can take notes. We actually drove 1.5hrs (each way) for this cooking class and it was worth it!

We were hosted by Androniki, her husband, and a friend (Herika?) who assisted with translation as needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and would highly recommend joining them for lunch. Androniki and her crew did a wonderful job of handling all the prep work before we arrived and we had a great time making homemade cheese and putting together a plethora of Greek dishes — all were incredible. While our creations cooked in the outdoor oven, Androniki gave us a tour of her beautiful vegetable and herb garden. We even stopped to sample a pomegranate and gogi berries freshly picked from the trees! Finally we all sat down together and enjoyed our meal — it was truly heaven in Crete. I definitely suggest going hungry as you'll want to try everything at least once! Androniki — thank you again for hosting us. We really appreciated your hospitality and sincerely hope to see you again!
