From the former Head Chef of Vanilla Black comes Eleven98: a Hackney-based social dining experience enjoyed at The Chef's Table and also as popups at some of the coolest spots across the London borough of Hackney. We always kick off proceedings with a quirky welcome cocktail and serve bespoke multi-course tasting menus, sometimes with drinks pairings. The truly unique concept of Eleven98 is that we source all of our produce from within the borough of Hackney! This means that everything plant-based on the menu will have been literally cultivated or foraged within a mile or two of where you'll be eating it! Lots of the veg and herbs are grown in Aidan's own allotment too, and his passion for sustainability and permaculture principles is visible throughout every aspect of the Eleven98 experience.

What to expect at Aidan's place
Aidan waves his magical talent at weaving locally sourced, natural, community supported ingredients, and we found ourselves in a multi-course experience of michelin standards. Remarkable and rare! He hopes to open an own restaurant one day... we would be regular customers if so, which so few do in London. This is worth it!
What a special night! The food was all delicious and Aidan did absolutely incredibly things showcasing the local produce of the neighborhood, which he clearly is so passionate about. My favorite was a dish that incorporated cucumbers make about 6 or 7 different ways! The group at the dinner was a mix of locals and visitors to London and made for a great, lively conversation all night. I came alone but felt completely comfortable with this great group, we even all went out for drinks after dinner ended (which was about 23:30). Loved everything about this night!
