What to expect at Ellie's place
I had a great time at the Little Blue Door. It is different than most EatWith events since you are not at someone’s home, you are at a private dinner party at a public place. But it is not your average restaurant/bar setting. It is trendy and cool. You’ll need reservations to sit and have dinner on a normal night since it is so popular. The bar is serving up eclectic drinks. The vibes are truly ones you’ll need to feel for yourself. If you are looking to meet new people and mingle in a unique atmosphere, this is the place for you. I will definitely book again and try another event they have to offer. Oh and the FOOD... the most important part, was exceptional. I will recommend The Little Blue Door, and definitely return soon. Thank you to all involved!
Hi Ellie/Alex/Cameron, Tommy et al - the Kit and Caboodle team had great fun at the Flatmates House Party last night. In fact, as I'm the only one in the office, I suspect the partying went on long after I had to leave to get my grand-daughter home! The food was delicious, the drinks were imaginative, and the games caused hilarity. Positive feedback re improvements? As the only gluten free person at our table, I was unsure what was "safe" for me to eat as the multiple dishes were served on a sharing platter so I would've appreciated guidance. I tried to be sensible and avoid the obvious i.e. the bread sauce and the mincepies but I had to ask for an alternative to the latter - this should've been organised in advance. Conversation and games were challenging because of the really overwhelming noise levels in the room ... as an events company that does interior refurbs we felt this was due to sound bouncing off all the hard surfaces ... something you might want to rethink? We loved the decor in general throughout the venue, though, and we thought the welcome process was first rate, from the bouncer at the blue door, to the lovely lady on coat-check - everyone was really authentic, obliging and friendly. Well done, and the team were already asking when we can come celebrate with you all again!
